How to flash OpenWRT into redmi AC2100

In general, you could directly install OpenWRT by following this tutorial:

For some Chinese people, they may find Padavan would be better for use.

But for me, I was more like command line and open control, so we’ll be focusing on using OpenWRT.

There also have some system(or binary file, or software) that you may want to use in case you don’t want to use Windows to restore Redmi Official System (192.168.31.1).

For example, Breed (192.168.1.1)

I’ve used it to ‘uninstall’ Padavan, then install OpenWRT again. Because Padavan also has ssh access. (The default username and password of Padavan is admin. The ssh password is also admin. You can login with this: ssh admin@192.168.2.1
