being VS been
Rule
Use “being” after the verb “to be” (e.g., am, is, are, was, were).
Use “been” after the verb “to have” (e.g., has, have, had, having).
Example
being
My money is being taken away.
I am being a fool recently.
been
It has been a busy week. I nearly have time for personal activity.
Though I have been stupid before, I’ll never be in that status again.
